Rienaus - блэк-метал-группа из финского города Эспоо, образованная в 2009 году вокалистом и гитаристом Mavrofos'ом, который также известен как гитарист Azazel. Название группы переводится с финского как "богохульство". Лирика композиций посвящена сатанизму.

Своё первое демо, "Beneath the Black Wings", включающее в себя 6 треков, группа выпускает 14 февраля 2010 года на CD ограниченным тиражом в 50 копий. Уже в августе 2010-го выходит второе демо, "Hymns from the Damned Soul", состоящее из 7 композиций. Как и на предыдущем релизе, в записи вокала и всех инструментов принимал участие сам Mavrofos.

В 2011 году Mavrofos подписывают контракт с немецким лейблом Schattenkult Produktionen и 17 декабря на этом лейбле выпускают третье демо - "Salatut Sanat, Unohdetut Kielet". Демо включает в себя 3 композиции. Изначально запись увидела свет на компакт-дисках. В последующие два года в творчестве Rienaus наступает перерыв, за время которого группа переиздает первое и третье демо на кассетах (в 2012 и 2013 соответственно). 

В 2012 году Rienaus впервые выступают на Yö syvyydessä в Лаппеенранте вместе с Kuilu, Verge и The Wandering Midget, в 2013-м команда появляется на Nocturnal Visions II вместе с Blood Red Fog, Kuilu и Nodian в Хельсинки, а в 2014-м группа выступает вместе с Kuilu на разогреве у Ride For Reverge в Тампере.

В том же 2014 году к Rienaus присоединяется ударник Testimony, и группа заключает контракт с финским лейблом Kvlt. 25 сентября на этом лейбле на компакт-дисках музыканты выпускают дебютный полноформатный альбом "Aamutähdelle". В запись вошло 7 треков. На январь 2015 года у коллектива запланировано еще 3 концерта совместно с Hell Spirit в России (Санкт-Петербург и Москва) и в Белоруссии (Минск).
