May Blitz - это английское пауэр-трио, игравшее тяжелый рок в начале 70-х.
Группа была основана в 1969 бассистом Терри Пулом и ударником Китом Бейкером, которые составляли ритм-секцию блюз-рокового трио Bakerloo, и покинули группу, когда лидер - гитарист Клем Клемпсон свалил в небезизвестный вам Colosseum. Джейми Блэк присоединился к ним и начал петь ртом и играть на гитаре, да как! Но вышеназванные засранцы покинули группу еще до того, как они успели записать что-либо. К Блэку присоединились барабанер Тони Ньюмен (поигравший потом во многих замечательных бэндах) и бассист Рейд Хадсон. После непродолжительного лабания в пабах ребятки заключились с Vertigo Records и выпустили в 1970-м замечательный дебютник. К превеликому сожалению, альбом остался практически незамеченным. Но музыкантам был дан еще один шанс - второй альбом 2nd of May был выпущен в 71-м, и был он встречен с огромным... равнодушием. Команда после этого распалась....
