Молодая минская группа Essence Of Datum, играющая мелодичный техничный метал, образована в 2011 году. Первый релиз, мини-альбом "I am Alpha and Omega", вышел в 2012, а спустя год увидел свет дебютный альбом.

В полноформатник "Event Horizon" вошли восемь треков, записанных в стилях progressive death metal и melodic death metal. Этот альбом, украшенный обложкой от итальянского маэстро Паоло Джирарди, получил высокие оценки по всему миру. По словам музыкантов, они хотели сделать максимально живую запись, чтобы концертное звучание песен мало чем отличалось от треков на альбоме.

В 2015 году группа Essence Of Datum презентовала в Сети новый материал в промо-формате. Второй полноформатный альбом уже в рабочем цеху и готовится обрести первые формы. Альбом будет называться "Nevermore". В арсенале восемь моднейших композиций и обложка от великого итальянского маэстро Паоло Джирарди.
